Rates for Services
The rates for services can vary depending on the particular circumstances, so the purpose of this list is to only provide you with some idea of the costs.
Each activity can be modified to meet your budget, so please do not decide not to move forward due to the rate listed below. Instead, email , describing your situation and your budget. We can then set up a day/time to discuss the situation further.
Finally, a note that we do not determine the price of classes that are taught by Academy staff in other venues (such as FAES@NIH). In these situations, classes are often modified to meet the needs of the institution involved, so the class prices presented here are not comparable.
Level 1, 2, and 3 Classes:
Students, Postdocs, Policy Fellows, Unemployed: $197
If you and a friend take a class together, you can split the cost. So each of you would half the cost above.
If you are an organization sponsoring a group of two or more, you can pay half the class cost per student through a single payment.
If the class is a pilot, that is a class we are teaching for the first time, you can pay half the cost in exchange for your feedback on the class as part of the co-creation process.
Workshops and Webinars
Half-Day Workshops: $500
Full-Day Workshops: $1,000
Webinars (1 hr): $250
All workshops and webinars are live, virtual (via Zoom), and include interactive activities.
A half-day is typically 9-12 pm or 1-4 pm in the time zone of the participants.
A full day is 9-4 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
A webinar is typically one hour.
For technical reasons, the number of participants is limited to 100.
Participants typically include a combination of students, postdocs, faculty, and staff (if at a university).
Private Coaching and Mastermind
30-minute coaching - $150
60-minute coaching - $300
60-minute mastermind - $300 per session, which can be split among 4-8 participants
30-minute coaching is typically "ask me anything" sessions focused on questions about how government works, getting advice on a particular situation, or career advice.
60-minute coaching typically focuses on providing in-depth feedback of a specific document, but can also include the activities identified for a 30-minute session.
Mastermind sessions are best suited for groups of individuals who want to work together over a longer period of time. They are not the same as a group coaching session. See description for details.
The day/time for coaching/mastermind is based on the client's schedule and can include evenings and weekends.
